Lamborghini Yacht – The Raging Bull of the Sea!

Tecnomar for Lamborghini Logo

I remember growing up believing that a yacht was a big boat with a sail that provided quiet and tranquil trips on the ocean. Well, either I was misinformed, or the concept of “yacht” has evolved to mean something far more spectacular today.

Spectacular is probably an understatement when we’re presented with one of the latest vessels to meet the high seas. The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 speedboat takes tranquil luxury and aggression and packages them together into what can only be described as breathtakingly stupendous. I mean, imagine taking the design and performance of one of the most beautiful hyper-cars in the world and then modeling a boat after it. Well, that’s exactly what you get with this new Lamborghini yacht.

The Lamborghini Boat: The Concept

The Raging Bull brand, that is Lamborghini’s not one but two beautiful new additions to their vehicle collection. However, one of them is made for the water. The new Lamborghini Sian motor vehicle has a sibling that is just as showy and jaw-dropping. But that was Lambo’s idea all along.

Both the Lamborghini boat and car are designed to inspire one another. Climb into each one and you’ll notice similar touches in both; right down to the unique Verde Gea green color and carbon fiber highlights. Even the Lamborghini yacht’s bow and stern resemble the nose and taillights of the hyper-car

But the Italian car brand could not bring their Lamborghini yacht concept to life without the help of leaders in the maritime market. So, the company forged an alliance together with The Italian Shipyard to bring this dream to life and build the fastest boat in the ultralight yacht class. The result is the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63.

This new jewel of the sea is a limited-edition vessel cast for the super-rich. As its name indicates, there are only 63 of these vessels available in the world, making it a much sought-after commodity among affluent yachties.

Lamborghini Speedboat Performance and Spec

A Lambo is not a Lambo if it doesn’t produce the ‘horses’ under the hood… er, um, engine housing. And man does this beauty arrive at the party in style! The Lamborghini yacht is powered by a dual V12 diesel engine developed by MAN. Each of the two engines musters 2,000 horsepower to give a combined output of 4,000 BHP from the tail. So, if you’re aboard, best you hold onto your hat, as the ‘Water Bull’ can race along at speeds of up to 60 knots. That’s an impressive 69 mph/111 kph to you landlubbers.

Unlike most crafts in its league, the Lamborghini boat can cruise comfortably at 40 knots (46 mph/74 kph). Most deck boats on the water will be blasting their engines just to keep up at this half-throttle pace. Look, the Lambo is not the fastest craft on the sea, but we must remember that it’s built for leisure. It’s not a raw race boat – even though it will leave behind most yachts and water vessels that try to oppose it.

Everything about the Lamborghini yacht is designed to showboat (pardon the pun) its potential performance. Its dynamic shape cuts through the air effortlessly and even the roof is made longer than usual for the sake of aerodynamics.

Lastly, the hull is made from carbon fiber, making the vessel super light compared to its rivals. Its shape was designed by naval engineers that specialize in hydrodynamics. As such, the skids deflect the flow of water and generate a lift that raises the body out of the water to decrease hydrodynamic resistance. There are adjustable flaps on the boat that allows the trim of the vessel to change, optimizing its performance while it is plaining above the water.

Specifications

Explore the table below for an overview of the specifications on this Lamborghini boating vessel:

The Lap of Leisure: What’s the Inside Like?

The Lamborghini yacht is a spacious vessel. It is 63 feet (20.42) long and 17 feet 9 inches (5.4 meters) wide. It provides for both fore and aft deck reclining (for sunbathers) along with a spacious cockpit situated towards the middle of the boat.

Lamborghini Yacht Interior

The cockpit is built for sportiness It boasts dual bucket racing seats and a steering wheel that looks like it has been pulled out of a Lamborghini Aventador. The digital dials and instrument cluster bolsters the modern style that the boat makers are trying to achieve with this vessel.

While the outside of the craft shows off its muscles, below the deck oozes refinement and comfort. Don’t get me wrong, you still know you are in a modern Lamborghini, but the sporty soft-touch inlays and décor help provide a more relaxing space in the craft.

The Lambo yacht showcases a master suite with a double bed, multiple portholes, and a flat-screen TV. There are also snug guest quarters with two separated twin beds and a restroom with all the amenities you need. these include a hand basin, toilet, and shower.

So, Who’s Got One?

Well, we thought that we would leave you to dream for a while longer before releasing the price. The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 sells for €3.1 million. That isolates the list of buyers that can afford this beauty down to a minuscule percentage of the world’s population.

Conor McGregor

Former featherweight and lightweight UFC fighting champion, Conor McGregor, may have needed to cheer himself up after breaking his leg in his last fight against Dustin Poirier. Nothing consoles the mind like a luxury purchase, it seems. As such, he bought himself one of the 63 available Lamborghini yachts. According to Forbes, McGregor paid $3.6 million for his boat.

Conor took to Instagram last year to herald the fact that he was honoured to claim boat number 12 from the 63-boat fleet. He then tweeted a picture of his yacht being delivered earlier this year, typing only: “My Lamborghini yacht is ready.”

Conor McGregor amassed a whopping $180 million last year, making him the best-paid athlete in the world. It’s, therefore, no wonder he can add such a ‘nice’ item to his already impressive collection of ‘toys’. Some of his other luxury items include a McLaren 650S, Rolls Royce Ghost, Bentley Continental GT, Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, Lamborghini Urus, and more.
